Troop 6 Special Recognitions

 

These patches are to be sewn on a Scout or Leader’s Troop 6 neckerchief.  Stars are awarded if the patches are earned more than once.

 

Super Scout

Awarded to Scouts who meet the following criteria:

  1. •One point for attending a troop meeting in uniform or or scout activity in troop t-shirt. Uniforms are required at all regular meetings. About 30 points per scout are possible. This includes the PLC, rummage sale, Eagle projects, courts of honor etc.

  2. •Four points for attending an outing or scout camp in uniform or troop t-shirt - about 28 are possible.  Cedar Badge, & Jamboree  count.  A meeting point will be earned when the camp includes a Wednesday.

  3. •Achieve one rank advancement or earn two merit badges.

  4. •At each Court of Honor, any Scout with 35 or more points plus advancements will earn the Super Scout patch.
