Minutes Committee Meeting April 22, 2013
Attendees: Sara, Jovita, Elliot, Harlan, Bryan, Robin, Bill, Cheryl, Bob
1. Prayer: Bryan
2. Minutes: Bob, Approved
3. Quartermaster: Robin got tires for Troop trailer with Eric assisting. Tents, some need repairs, one needs poles, missing stakes. Eric is making a specific check list for checking tents in and out. Harlan suggested making deadman achors for the tents.
4. Ventures:
A. Past Events: Aimed Sports shooting 3 adults 4 crew came in second, CPR 6 crew attended.
B. Up Coming: W&R First aid 3 Crew signed up, Salmon High Adventure 25-27 July. Reserving Shoshone Lake for 3 nights. 2014 planning some type of trail outing TBD
5. Scout Past Events: Rocket & Geocaching, Scouts had a great time were only able to launch 2 rockets because of the wind. Had great time geocaching.
6. Upcoming Events:
A. May 14 Eagle Court of Honor for Austin Jensen, 7 pm Trinity
B. May 17-19: Cub Family Camp at Krupp, Cowboy theme 4 events campfire service project.
C. May 22: Quarterly COH picnic at Trinity, will be pot luck
D. June 7-10 Bike 50 miler at Barney Tepid springs. will do a couple of practice runs and bike tune ups before.
E. Welcome new Webelos this Wed the 24th.
F. August Ceder Badge, Powder Horn, Wood Badge, Tall Timber.
G. April 23 7-9 pm swimming at the Aquatic center adult needs safe swim defense training
H. Garage Sale June 15th, 6 am to 2 pm
7. Troop News: Family camp staff meeting Thursday 25th April, Youth did there youth protection. Wilderness & Remote first aid 4/26-27
8. Treasurer: Jovita, Scout Store $ 528.41, Checking $2183.92, Savings $1465.16, Owe Scouts $2681.36, Troop Funds $967.71
9. New Business: David looking at a possible Eagle project. Aquatic center has a list of water merit badges they do every Friday in the summer.
